Nichols Mfg Inc (NMI) was founded in 1979 and is an ITAR Registered, ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev D Certified (Quality Management System), contract manufacturing company that specializes in complex machined parts and mechanical assemblies for Space Flight, Ground Support, and multiple Ballistic programs as well as Turnkey OEM Mfg for various Mil-Spec and Custom Designed Firearms Components. As a Provider of Defense Contract Manufacturing services, Nichols Mfg maintains registration with the US Department of State's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. In order to maintain compliance with all applicable provisions of the Arms ExportControl Act (AECA) and the International Traffic in Arms RegulationsPart 122(ITAR 122), Nichols Mfg holds ITAR Registrant code M31835.
AS9100D / ISO 9001 (QMS Certification)
Nichols Manufacturing utilizes a quality management system certified to the current AS9100 /ISO 9001 standard as required for Aerospace and Defense customers. Nichols Mfg. Is certified by BSI America, the US division of the British Standardization Institute. Annual audits are conducted to ensure continued compliance with all aspects of the AS9100 /ISO 9001 QMS certification standard. These standards are applied to our defense and aerospace customers. Nichols has maintained compliance with no major discrepancies found by the QMS auditor.

Build-to-Print Contract Manufacturing
Nichols Manufacturing is a premier build-to-print contract manufacturer that strives for 100% ZD, (Zero Defect) parts that meet all blueprint and customer requirements and specifications.
In-Process Inspection
As part of Nichols Mfg's quality assurance and control processes, we perform an in-process inspection at each production operation. In the event that our customer does not set an inspection lot size, Nichols Mfg will use the lot size standards based on ANSIz1.4-2003(R2018) inspection lot size standard. AS9102FAI Reports are also available upon program request along with our standard100% Bubble DWG CriticalFeature Inspection Report, (derived from customer- supplied DWG), Material and C-of-C’s are also available upon request.
Production Parts
Nichols Manufacturing can handle complex single-piece part orders as well as large lot sizes of several hundred parts. The same quality assurance and control checks are performed throughout the production process for single-part orders as well as high-volume production runs.

Nichols Manufacturing designs and provides engineered build-to-print tooling and fixturing in support of our customer's strategic program needs.
